We couldn't be more excited, because we'll be sharing a bill with the talented John Swardson, on Wednesday, Dec. 18th, at the Aster Cafe. There's nothing like a cozy winter show, on the Mississippi River, at the beautiful and intimate Aster Cafe!
John has been a favorite singer and songwriter of mine for a long time. We've always shared a love of the Drive-By Truckers, Judas Priest, and The Replacements. He's released two solo records (Ablaze, and Silver Dust), and an awesome, hard rock record called Dogs in the Woods, with the band Get Gone. I couldn't recommend tracking down and picking up these records enough! John's got a new group now, too, called John Swardson & Bad Blood. Check some of John music out here: www.reverbnation.com/johnswardson
We hope you can make it down to the Aster on the 18th. We promise a good time! The Nasty Notes will be having at it, with Bobbi Miller on vocals and Curt Hutchens on guitar. Music at 9pm.
And, it's always good to call ahead for seats at the Aster. 612-379-3138. Or check out the calendar: www.astercafe.com/events
Thanks! We look forward to seeing you soon!
Roll & Tumble! --Mike
We are super stoked to be playing an acoustic show and opening up for Katy Vernon and her trio, on Thursday, Oct 24th at 7:30pm, at the 318 Cafe in Excelsior, MN. Check Katy out at www.katyvernon.com. Joining me for the evening will be my super talented friends, Curt Hutchens on guitar, and Bobbi Miller on vocals!
Come on out! And we'll all have a good time!
Well, the summer is going quick, but we couldn't be more excited! We've finished our new record "The Higher You Climb", and we're so stoked for you to hear it! Casey Smith has done just an incredible job producing this new record! A true labor of love!
Thanks to everyone for their kind words about the record. It means alot to us and me.
If you haven't had a chance yet, you can hear and get the record here, so please check it out!
Hope you have a great fall. We've got big plans as we ramp up for gigs and our CD Release party later this fall. More details to follow on that!
Take care,
Rock'n roll!
