Bec Smith

We had our friend, the incomparable Bec Smith in studio last night, singing and playing piano on the title track of our new record "The Higher You Climb." We also worked on a song Bec and I co-wrote called Lilianna Rose, and a summertime tune called Everybody Wants You.

For two hours, she sang for us, and thrilled us beyond all belief.

Sounds from Heaven

Bobbi Miller laid down vocals on a few songs for us, including our song 'Gravel Road.' What a treat to hear this voice of an angel! We're so honored to be working with her!

Rock'n Roll Party In The Streets!

Thanks to everybody who came out to The Nasty Notes CD Release Party on April 3rd for "Fire On The Radio" at McKracken's Pub. It was an awesome time! And cheers to Casey Smith, Spencer Lovdal, Ryan Inselman, Craig Holets, and Dan Jensen for putting on a great show! There's more pictures in the Photo Gallery.

The Nasty Notes cracked through 10 originals and a few select covers, including Cowboy Song, Raspberry Beret, Are You Gonna Go My Way? and Fortunate Son.
